The primary content and features are very similar across all the platforms. I am specifically covering the Nintendo Switch edition of the Contra Anniversary Collection, but in addition to Nintendo Switch it was also released on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Steam. Slap your favorite 80’s rock cassette tape into your Walkman, don a pair of those cheesy yet comfortable padded foam headphones and get lost in the world of an additively fun side-scrolling shooter game. But Contra was one of those games that you could come back to again and again. It also didn’t have the best graphics or most gripping storyline.
